I can not believe how accurate I must have been

B.C. I can almost guarantee that you will get some funny looks going into a beauty supply place to buy the end papers. When I bought mine, the place was loaded with women and I think that they all assumed that I was gay. What the hell, most of them were over the hill and overweight. I will che...

Eoin,

That is a really nice looking rifle. I am looking forward to a detailed report on how it shoots.

broke collector, May I ask what bullets you have tried and what papers you have used. A friend who shoots a lot of Sharps rifles gave me an old Rapine mould that drops a 460-470 grain bullet, the ones that I pictured in my post. The paper that I use for making the cartridges are end papers that wome...

The Shrink and Proctologist

Micheal, couldn't you find one with a buttstock that had been used to bust rocks and drive tent stakes? Beautiful rifle. Shoots pretty good also. I hear that they shoot even better during the winter.

Hey, I like that idea, especially as I am faced with exactly the same problem with the same model rifle. My only other recourse would be to find 7mm shotgun ammo.

Austrian M1867/77 Jaeger Rifle

When the Prussians trounced the Austrian army in 1867 at the Battle of Sadowa, the superiority of the Prussian Dreyese needlegun compelled the Austrian to look for a successor to their 1854 Lorenz muzzle stuffers. That turned out to be the Werndl. [pic]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0603/Maverick...

1871/88 Dutch Beaumont

Oh, I just hate having a virgin forum. Let's get this one rolling with some pix of the only Dutch rifle that I own, a M71/88 Dutch Beaumont, 11x52R BP cartridge rifle.
