Re: PHOTOGRAPHS FROM ST MERE EGLISE MUSEUM

Duncan, I am acquainted with a French historian who relayed the information to me last week. Phillipe Jutras was the curator for many years until his passing in 2001-2002?. There were problems with the curator/curators after his death. I don't imagine this becoming a public/media prosecution would h...

Re: PHOTOGRAPHS FROM ST MERE EGLISE MUSEUM

Great pictures. Unfortunately many of the original items donated to the St. Mere museum were sold by the museum curator & replaced with reproductions. Notice how new some of the items look. My father was in Co. A 508th P.I.R. & at one time I was going to donate the helmet, combat jacket and ...

Any SVT38's out there??

Nice previous article on the SVT40. I was able to get my fathers SVT 38 bringback up & running last week. A nice all matching Russian. I understand they only made them from October 1939 to April 1940.
Any others out there??

Re: Dutch M95 Carbine barrel extension

The two I've seen are carbines in 6.5 caliber and threaded for 1/2" in front of the front sight with a plain smooth 1 1/2" extension (same diameter as the barrel) silver soldered onto the barrel.

Dutch M95 Carbine barrel extension

I've noticed several carbines at gunshows that have a short extension (1 1/2") on the end of the barrel & other carbines don't. Was this for some pre-1968 short barrelled rifle regulation or what?

Re: Dutch M95 Steyr Carbine

1886, Wow, what a selection! After looking at the web pages for an hour I came to the conclusion the little carbine fits into the N0. 3 new model designation. I think Admin. should make this a "Sticky". Great information. Many thanks for the information, it was more than anyone could have ...

Dutch M95 Steyr Carbine

I have a carbine marked Steyr 1900 that was put together from a box of spare parts & barreled actions which I have. The parts don't match of course but it is a very nice looking carbine with an excellent bore & bluing. How can I tell which bolt to use in the 1900 carbine? I see them with str...

Unique model "L" .22

Picked one up lately. A very nice looking pistol. Blue frame, nickel slide & white grips. Haven't shot mine yet. Is this a good pistol?

Niner, The Yugo SKS oiler comes in a small leather pouch that I've seen attached to the Yugo SKS sling. I have several extra pouches if you need one to "complete the set".
