I've filled my C&R collection awhile ago, but I'm checking in to renew my C&R info. I've been a member of this forum for quite a while, and I value the members of this group. I attend a local Vet Center and am a 100% Disabled Vet with PTSD.

Re: PTSD and C&R collecting
Thanx, Niner for the great reply, and what you said is so true. I live in CA so all my firearms are known to the government. I'll keep my 03FFL and renew my license, but sell my extra C&R's and non-C&R firearms that I bought for an investment. I'm searching through Gunbroker.com, and other f...

PTSD and C&R collecting
I'ma 100% disabled vet WIA in Pleiku, RVN. I've had PTSD since March 14, 1969, but I'm a calm and peaceful member of my community. I've received a BA in psychology and worked as a therapist for the VA and other agencies. I attend a PTSD group at the local Vet Center, and was awarded a rating for PTS...

Re: Mauser Prod 44
I've received a VA rating in 2007 for PTSD, so I'm concerned about my C&R being confiscated by Big Brother now. I have the Pred44, two Chez. Mausers and a Swede, four antique Argi carbines, four M91/30 and three Antique M-39s, and a Chinese 1888 GEW Commission. I was using the C&Rs as a savi...

Mauser Prod 44
I own a matching Mauser Prod 44 Yugo(?), and it is a captured and scrubbed K98 with war damage. It's in better shape that a Russian Captured K98 in good to VG condition, but my friend wants to buy it- I've been out of the C&R collection business so I don't know a reasonable price. Can you help? ...

Re: Argentian modello 1891
I concentrated on Argentine modello 1891 Mausers, and I started with a DMW 1891 matching sportier rifle. It is a nice shooter with the stock cut short. The Argi 1891 has a two lug small ring bolt that cocks on closing- just the opposite of a 1898 three lug bolt. The actions are bare- not blued. I fo...

Contest entry for Lucky Gunner Ammo Co.
I wrote this essay to send to Lucky Gunner for their contest: 25 yards was closer at 25 years I paid my dues and entered the IRON SIGHTS indoor rifle range. Appearing at my station, I viewed my target 25 yards distance- and that’s what it was- Distant. At the age of 25 years- 25 yards is a throw-a-w...

Re: Black Rifles
I still have my Chinese GEW Commission rifle, and the wood is still black ( I won't let Sen. Finestein see it!). I build an AR-15 Kalifionia legal rifle, but I bought the upper from DEL-TON, with a 20 inch barrel and a 10 round magazine. It has a 'Bullet Button' that keeps the Mag a part of the rifl...
