Re: Ross Mark III

Peter, They're a great military target rifle, many years ago when I first became an armourer I shot the annual range practice with a Ross that I then owned. I retained my Marksman rating and claim to be the only Australian serviceman to have done so with a Ross (at least post WWII), Being one of the...

Re: Lost key

Peter,

Have a look on top of the ammo safe, particularly towards the back; is there a gap at the back?

Re: New Zealand tragedy

Re: Wearing shorts in winter.

I also wore leather Roman sandals which were particularly good for sloshing through mini-floods when the st...

Re: 58 caliber lead ball compared to alloy ball

Thanks for that, very interesting; I also read the one on building the rifle. Having acquired lots of roofing lead when the house next door was re-roofed and I don't hunt anything bigger than foxes and paper targets, pure lead does OK for me. I thought that the video had stopped, then WHAM!!, very i...

I recently got a beautiful catalogue from "Track of the Wolf" and it was packed in scrunched up newspaper.
