New uniforms...........

Was just reading my American Legion magazine and the Army is going to issue new dress uniforms that look like WWII uniforms............ interesting. They look fine to me, but I'm not crazy about the brown bill on the saucer hats. This link has photos and explains the theory behind this. 2 of the peo...

At it again.....

Well the liberal state of Washington is at it again. They are offering a $150 buy-back on your bump-stock. But there is a lot of fine print...... If you turn them into law enforcement the state will send you a check for $150...... if you furnish them your name and address. So now they know you have ...

Re: A new firearms bill in the wash

Washington state has had that background check law for several years, although many people ignore it. The law here went one step further to include private sales, even between family. They actually expect people to go to a gun store and pay the background check fee to sell a .22 single shot to your ...

Re: How to fly a B-25 Mitchell medium bomber

They had to take off of the USS Hornet about 200 miles further from Japan than they had planned, because they had been spotted by a Japanese picket boat that radioed their position before the light cruiser Nashville sank it. A few months later the Hornet fought at the Battle of Midway, and then 6 mo...

Re: How to fly a B-25 Mitchell medium bomber

It was the Army Air Corps from 1926 until 1941, then it was the Army Air Forces until 1947, when it was no longer part of the Army and became the US Air Force. The reason for the fire extinguishers is the same reason they had them for almost every radial engine startup for every plane in all the mil...

Re: The state of Washington has some new gun laws

The problem here is that the damn liberals in the Seattle area and the state government have ruined this state. The governor and attorney general are 2 of the worst. Between the liberals and the scare tactics, they managed to get an initiative passed that makes this one of the worst states for gun o...

Re: Magazine loaders

As I said, I didn't pay near those prices. I have 3 9mm pistols and the Ruger has 17 round
mags and the Canik has 20 round mags, putting those last few in is tough. Same for the
last few in .223/5.56 30 and 40 round mags.
I always find the easy way...........

Magazine loaders

I have Lula loaders for most of my rifle and pistol magazines. But I decided to get even more lazy to save my fingers and bought these loaders. Both work great and load the mags quickly. One is for .223/5.56 and the other is for 9mm pistol double stack mags. The 9mm loader comes with 6 adapters for ...

Re: The Play Offs

Well, that Alabama game didn't end well did it, most were probably expecting them
to beat Clemson. I guess it's true what they say about football... "on any given day......"
The U. of Washington Huskies lost their bowl game, too................. :(

Re: The Play Offs

I have been sort of watching the NFL again, the local Seahawks are out of it now. Was glad to see the Chargers win, and sad to see the Bears lose. The Bears center #65 is the grandson of a close friend, I never met him but my wife did, while he was still playing for Kansas State. So I cheer for the ...
