Summer officially starts tomorrow

And the Lubber is back. They are about four inches long and look like the grasshopper Darth Vader. They are slow and plod along about like a snail in a hurry. They are said to be toxic to birds and small animals that would dare eat one. They also are said to give out a toxic mist if attacked. You on...

Re: THE FIRST WORLD WAR as reported in the daily news

William Jennings Bryan, the famous former Secretary of State and later champion the Bible and Adam and Eve at the Scopes Trial, takes a swing at demon booze. In a story along side this one the Army and Navy were having trouble getting meat fit to eat. Bryan apparently didn't have a problem with demo...

West Point grad is discharged for advocating Communism

Just noticed this story. Seems a combat veteran of Afghanistan got admitted to West Point. He recently graduated. But.... he got kicked out of the Army with an "other than honorable" discharge for advocating Communism and posing with a pro Communism message in his hat and wearing a Che Gue...

Re: THE FIRST WORLD WAR as reported in the daily news

Uncle Sam plans to take good care of the soldiers returning with war caused physical problems. What else could a soldier want? Well about the time of the Depression the veterans wanted to be compensated for the wages they would have made while being paid soldiers pay. And Congress said ok......in 19...

Nice. The smallest quality pocket camera of the 1970's. The spy and street camera. Recently I bid on a Konica C35EF.... made famous as the Andy Warhol pocket camera because he is said to have had several of them and took photos at gatherings of his "in crowd" and freaky friends. Didn't win...

Cool. Great home defense gun if you don't mind destroying the furniture while taking care of the bad guys.

I love a pump. The ka..chunk as you rack the slide gives the shooter courage and scares the crap out of the bad guy.

Hard to believe a movie star guy would say that about a President and on top of that an audience full of Broadway entertainers rise up in a standing ovation. Interesting photos. What struck me is that the rifles seem to be "stacked" in twos. I'd have thought there would be at least three. Another thing is that K98K Mausers don't seem to come with a stacking swivel or other such designed feature for stacking. Those K98's have a front ban bottom ...

Kim brought his own toilet to the Singapore conference. And people were saying Trump isn't prepared for the talks. Looks like Kim really takes his shit seriously. Nobody is going to find out what drugs he's taking. According to South Korean newspaper The Chosun Ilbo, Kim refuses to relieve himself o...

Here are some better images with mm Sony HX20V..... a camera that somehow cured itself of some kind of error message that had been affecting it for a while. Good zoom on it even for a pocket camera.
