Your M38 without the threaded muzzle may indicate that it was one of 18000 made by husky for the volunteer shooters movement. Check to see if any "FSR" marking on the receiver of barrel are present. In any event looks like you have yourself a very nice blond swede. Enjoy,Frank

Is there a source for target sights suitable for the #4MKII lee enfield in the U.K.? We yanks don't often see amny and they are really hard to find here. So if anyone knows a source and prices I would be glad to hear from you. Think Parker Hale made a couple different types. Thanks, Frank

Theoldest rifle that I own is a steyr 1886 portugese kropatschek in 8mm. has matching bayonet. Have about 5 pounds assorted bullets also 248gr steel jacketed and about the same number with the cupronickle bullets. And approx 65 loaded origional rounds.
