Family Just Got Bigger

Last week was a blur as our youngest daughter got married and we added another son-in-law to the family.

Magnificent Military Mauser Match Entries

The wife had appointments and meetings until late last night. Ah, a chance to a weekday trip to the range and a few attempts for the match. Re: Phoenix Meeting 2005 Bisley-warning lots of pictures

Adam, my old Honey Dipper, that was a fantastic post.

Eoin, in reference to the last picture in the set, I too have no idea who it is, but surely such things should be clearly outlawed. :);

Re: Magnificent Military Mauser Match

Nice shooting, Ole Hairy Faced One. Your score places you atop the leader board. :);

Re: Magnificent Military Mauser Match

After more or less completing an almost inexhaustable honey-do list, I finally managed to get out to the range late yesterday afternoon for a bit of shooting. Took my oldest Mausers out for a spin. I just wish that I could have shot in the morning. The the targets were in the shade and late afternoo...

Re: 577-450 loads

Excellent post, Brian. It was probably best that you did not dwell on the performance of the Schmidt-Rubins and, heaven forbid, the Swedish Mausers. No sense in incurring the wrath of the Old Mauserphobe, Adam. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gi...

Re: Magnificent Military Mauser Match

Nice going, joe. Looks like you got it to go bang enough to do reasonably well. Both of those scores place you at the top of the leader board. Thanks for joining in. However, while shooting the Kar98az from a trench it entirely appropriate, I believe that the K98k should be shot from behing a hedger...

Re: Got a new carbine...

That is one bodacious beauty, Phil. My envy level just went off the scale. ; I suppose that it is 7.5 Swiss. I am curious about the rear sights. The settings look like 500 and 1000 meters. T...
