Don't know him Joe, someone in Canada.
I cannot think the case was double charged, there isn't enough room! I doubt the bullet had anything to do with it either but a possible old fracture in the receiver ring sounds most likely to me. I believe he had a bit of a bloody face.

Apparently a possible double charge and a fracture in the receiver ring plus a slightly oversize cast bullet :shock:

It might be Swiss but they still break under the right (wrong) circumstances................

Update:- Having tried all possible ways I can think of to get the powder to stick to the bullets and being unsuccessful I obtained a Product Data Sheet from Harbor Freight and sent it, along with my observations on the problem, to the powder supplier in the UK. I spoke to them yesterday on the phone...
