Re: Lee Speed for sale

OK, I know, that there will be not that much interest in Germany, but maybe in the UK? Selling in the EU is not a big problem, I did bussiness with fellow collectors in several countries already, but not UK yet. As those rifles do pop up for sale not at ofter here, I realy have no feeling for he val...

Lee Speed for sale

OK, don't know, if it is against the board rules, but I want to sell my Lee Speed and am looking to place a price on it.

Barrel is nice and chamber is tight, shoots S&B ammo real fine.

Re: Mauser 24/47 Problem

Transliteration of the sidemaking would be KRAGUJEVAC, the place in Serbia, where the rifle was rebuilt.

Re: Simo Häyhä's rifle

Thanks!

I fear, there will be no range time very sone, maybe next year.
I shot the rifle, while it belonged to my buddy, on par with swedish Mausers, we shot the same day :-)

Simo Häyhä's rifle

No, I do not own his personal rifle from the battle of Kollaa, nobody does, as the rifle was left there and is probably rotted away. But I was able to get one of the real early m/28-30s, like the one he used to make his sniper record. http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/2057/resizeofm28301933.jpg I tra...

An Ortgies with history

Got this one in an auction some weeks back: http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/6366/resizeofortgiessa.jpg Besides the [SA] stamp denoting property of the Finnish Army is also carries the stamp of the finnish Prison Administration(Vankeinhoitolaitos). This is, what a good friend in Finland found out for ...

Re: Some old M91's

Nice rifles!

Have to find a Dragoon some day for my collection too.

Lemmy is a good guy, he helped me also a lot and has good contacts to other collectors in Finland.

Re: "New" Mosin Nagants

We did that with G3 and MG3(MG42).
With a Mosin I can do that todaly drunk and blind :D

I store my Mosins in a concrete bunker, only Fort Knox would be safer(or perhaps Hämeenlinna Garrison).

Re: OT(slightly). wannabe PU Sniper

The scope is origianl to teh TOZ18, TOZ17 is the variant without the scope, but otherwise the same, at least the early ones. Later TOZ17 was simplyfied(other muzzle, frontsightsetup and bolt like TOZ8) and also got a 11mm rail, no need to make TOZ18 anymore. There may be TOZ18 with 11mm rail, I am w...

OT(slightly). wannabe PU Sniper

OK, here it is, maybe some day it will be a fully grown PU Sniper:

For now it is a TOZ18 small bore hunting rifles, 5 shot mag, scope is a PO1.

Have not shot it, must clean and lube it first, everything is very stiff and dry.
