Re: Czech CZ-24 self-loading pistol
Thanks Joe. I'm very happy with this one. Right now I'm busy documenting the pistol. Next to taking various pictures that means trying to find more details, both technical and historical, on this pistol. This is something I like to do very much. I gather more knowledge and it makes my collection mor...

Re: Czech CZ-24 self-loading pistol
Thanks Miller. It's good to be back. I agree. It is a very nice pistol with a great history attached to it. I also like the operating system of this pistol. The rotary barrel locking system was originally devised to fire 9x19 Luger ammunition and was not really necessary to fire less powerful 9x17 a...

Czech CZ-24 self-loading pistol
Hello all, Last week I picked up a nice little pistol in Germany. It’s a Czech CZ-24 in caliber 9mm Browning short or .380ACP. Sometimes this pistol is also referred to as Vz-24. Vz is the Czech abbreviation for Vzor, meaning Model. CZ is an abbreviation of Ceska Zbrojovka, meaning Czech Armory. Mau...

Re: New to Milsurp
A bit later then the others, but welcome from the other side of the pond. Miller is right, Mosin Nagants seem to multiply over night :D I reload for all my Mosin Nagants. 7.62x54R is more expensive over here. Besides that I like to reload. It makes my hobby more interesting. I do not only reload for...

Re: SPRING SHOOTING CONTEST DETAILS
Thanks for the reply Joe and Dave. Yes, I'm extremely happy that our gun club owns a 100 meter indoor range. Building it was not the main problem. Getting the money and most of all the necessary paperwork was and let me tell you it does take a lot of paperwork over here. I was told that the Germans ...

Re: Ammo collection
Hello all. Went to a meeting of Dutch ammo collectors today. Along with some 7.62x54R, 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 ammo I found this little box. I do have a couple of Nagant cartridges in my collection, but this is my first complete box of military ammo. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/mosinnagant/Am...
