Re: Curio and Relics license
The Government can be fast when they want to be, but I renewed my Federal Documentation for my boat back in the middle of October, they cashed the check 10/30/16, they processed the licenses the 2nd of March and I received it last week!

Re: 1936 Tula Mosin training rifle
Mosins, probably 150-160, the number has stayed pretty static Duncan as I sell off some lesser collectable Mosins and reinvest the funds (plus some extra ) to aquire others.
Here is some more info of Soviet trainers and the Yy mark.

1936 Tula Mosin training rifle
Filled another hole in my run of 1936 Mosin Nagant's with this difficult to find training rifle. It is a mix of Tula and Izhevsk ( both pre & post 1928) parts and has a beautiful bore, not what I would have expected from a training rifle. 100_4890.JPG 100_4892.JPG 100_4895.JPG 100_4896.JPG 100_4...

Re: Another sniper enters the fold
That's an interesting way to mount the scope. I think I like that better than the side mount. Are the mounts difficult to get hold of. The bases are rare as hens teeth, mounts are almost as hard, and scopes are even easier still, but that said if I can find it all it will be between $2500/$3500 US....
