Re: Questions about the M38
Here are a few pictures of an M96/38 rifle I bought just to see if Swedish rifles were as accurate as I had heard. In discussing accuracy with a long time Mauser collector friend of mine he recommended this rifle if I wanted to find out for myself: • It was originally one of the 50,000+ M96 rifles m...

Re: Your opinion is sought................
Thanks for the response; impressive revolver with a lot of history. Some even believe Gen. Custer carried a .442 Webley Royal Irish "Bulldog" or perhaps a pair when the 7th was wiped out; he was known to own at least one Webley Royal Irish Constabulary revolver, but no shell cases were fou...

The M96 sight had to be replaced b...

.327 Magnum Opinions

The .327 Magnum impressed me as an effective cartridge suited for smaller and concealable pistols, and it also looked like a great choice for a carbine...

Any owners of the CZ-97 here? If so, what is your overall opinion of this pistol?

A case can be made for all of your options, however, my recommendation is the CZ-75 in 9x19. Czech firearm quality, function, and price are hard to beat....

New from North Carolina, USA
I live near Raleigh, NC. I’m pushing 80 years old so not too active collecting or shooting at this point, however, I started firearm collecting as a teenager with a WWII P35 pistol an uncle cut from an unfortunate German officer (I still have the pistol) and was a licensed collector for many years. ...
