Re: 1925 Izhevsk Ex-Dragoon
Lee, from the great pictures you have provided, I can tell it is a Ukrainian refurb & the bolt has been scrubbed & forced to match, also the receiver serial number was put there by the U.S. importer. Look above the receiver serial number for a very lightly struck dot-matrix importers stamp. ...

1934 Tula PE Replica & 1944 DDR PU Snipers
I have been searching for an ex-PE sniper for some time now in which to mount this fine Ukrainian post-war copy of the old 1930's PE scope, but finally decided to use this regular 1934 Tula 91/30 as host for the optics. http://i42.tinypic.com/9i4jf4.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/kcxuvn.jpg http://i42.t...

Outstanding CalFed!
You should love your typewriter as much as I love mine.
Mine is a refurbished mixmaster, but It wears a "C" stock & bears Elmer Keith's initials.

Re: '45 Izzy M44
Glad you like it!
It has a very smooth action for a Mosin & a crisp trigger.
Did you say your laminated 91/30 is an ex-sniper?

Re: Dirty old Westinghouse.
Very satisfying to see an uncommon New England Westinghouse M91 with Spanish Civil War history returned to military issue condition. Most folks would have an almost impossible time finding an intact Westinghouse or Remington stock for their M91, but you & I seem to have stumbled onto both in one...

Re: Need some stock finish help...
Looking very good, Krull!
You will be getting a M44 that will be a smaller twin brother to that one soon.
Here is a re-sniper I just finished this week.
She shoots as well as she looks, too!
