Re: Sony HX50 gone faulty

Now days cell phones have gotten pretty good in image quality. Probably in another ten years there won't be any digital cameras other than the very high end sort. Is that good? I honestly don't know. I do know l when I am using a camera I FEEL different when taking a photo and expect more. With film...

Re: The holsters of the generic sort

Here are a few more. Most are as would have been issued. Some are not. The differences in holster design are with different notions of function. Some .. most .. have an extra magazine holder. Some have cleaning rods. Some have covers with flaps with stays of some sort. Some not. How they are fastene...

Re: Sony HX50 gone faulty

I like the small Sony digital Cyber-shot pocket cameras. Great for trips. I've have acquired an assortment of them over the years. My favorites are the HX80 and the HX99 because they also have pop up view finder and 30X telephoto ability and the 18.2 megapixels are all I need for the way I view the ...

Re: Sony HX50 gone faulty

Sony RX100 revived from the dead today. I had dropped it on the sidewalk and it wouldn't work afterward many months ago. Surprise...surprise. Now it does. I was looking at a Sony that someone offered for parts that was one of my favorite models. Lens wouldn't move but screen would light up he says. ...

Re: B25 Mitchell Bomber ... ?

Vern knows his stuff. I got a feeling what was done to that plane was done with some kind of study so it's probably done right according to some particular plane I'd guess. When all else fails hit Google. I found this information that doesn't explain the machine gun but..... A World War II bomber re...

Re: B25 Mitchell Bomber ... ?

Now that you have educated me a bit, I can see what looks like it may be a round door in the nose that is clear down and to the right from the gunner. Then there is the OD round circle to the top middle.

Re: B25 Mitchell Bomber ... ?

This...I think....is the same B25 before they modified it to a Mitchell B25. Of course I could be wrong.

B25 Mitchell Bomber ... ?

I was trying out a camera at Battleship Park last week. I was looking at the photos again tonight. Noticed something that I can't explain. There is this B25 Mitchell Bomber on display. It was refurbished recently after having been outside and not much done to it. There was one thing the pictures sho...

Re: Tuba Skinny Broken Hearted Blues

Here's a link to a Satchmo tribute promoted by Chevron. Tuba Skinny plays a number of songs as there part of the occasion ...at least some of the tunes Louis Armstrong previously performed a long time ago.
