I have checked I can get RCBS No 9 shell holders they would be in the UK the first week in January if that's any good. They are about 7 dollars. Let me know if you want one.

Duncan the secret is to use a fast pistol powder I shoot my AIA in 7.62x39 using 3.6 grains of bullseye with a 150grain Loverin cast bullet. I shoot a similiar load through the MAS. I finally got the bolt out. I fitted a Parker Hale rear sight to the rifle in place of the original leaf sight when I first acquired the rifle. The problem is with the sight in place the tension on the bolt release leaf spring is to great so you can not remove the bolt. I have stripped the sight off...

I think I know what the problem. Its a machining jobby. I should be able to sort it out easily enough.
