There doesn't look like much "meat" between those cylinders Duncan, I'd be conservative loading for that one.

Bayonet ID ?

I was recently asked to identify and do write ups on a collection of bayonets, I managed to do so apart from this one which is labeled as a US M 15 bayonet. It looks unissued and doesn't have a single stamp or mark to help me.
I can't find anything US that looks like this, any ideas folks?

They do look piled in twos by, I assume, using the the cleaning rods. Having said that the pair nearest the camera appear to be resting on a low wall too.

K98 pics

A couple of interesting pics I came across and thought I'd share, obviously K98 rifles and mountain troop kit. The edelweiss cap badges marks them as german Gebirgsjäger.
