Thank you!
Yes, when I find these things the prices are always more than the rifle.

Diopter party
The Swiss love marksmanship and shooting matches so several types of diopter have been developed for competition. The type often encountered is the Type "K" made by Waffenfabrik (WF)for the K31. It clamps onto the rifle front sight and receiver with no alteration needed. This particular on...

Re: Swiss Cleaning Kits
Niner Delta,
I'm like you. I seem to buy the cleaning kits that go with the rifles I get but when I do my cleaning I use a one piece rod.
When I first started shooting though a stgw57 kit was what I used (old grease and all).

Swiss Cleaning Kits
The older straight-pull rifles (K31 and earlier) used a yellow grease called Waffenfett. It was made out of natural things like lanolin and was even used to rub on the stock (though it was not the stock finish). It comes in yellow jars that have instructions in French, German and Italian, the major ...

Nice shooting I say.
Those targets get tiny at 100. Sneaky!

Re: K98 pics
That looks great, Sarge!
Is the stock the same as a regular '98? So is getting a cheek weld difficult?

Re: Schmidt Rubin, Model G11
Yes, a chamber cleaning tool.
You can see that additional mesh came with the kit too. The pull-through has an opening mid way along it that can accommodate a patch or mesh.
That kit looks like it's in great shape!
