I found a folder with the pictures of the Bounty. Lots of years ago that movie ship was in Mobile. I couldn't remember if I posted them or not.

Test of added forum.

This forum has a topic icon that the others don't. I added it because the "other" hobbies got lost in all my camera posts. And.... I thought just a camera forum might attract somebody I know from facebook camera pages.

Minolta Maxxum 7000 and 9000

The Minolta Maxxum 7000 is known as the first auto focus SLR with the motor in the camera rather than in the lens like the Pentax ME F which was the first film SLR with an auto focusing lens in 1981. The 7000 was aimed at the advanced non professional photographer and introduced in February of 1985....

I tried to see if I could coax guests to post by requiring membership in the message board to read the forum material. Much of what is here goes back 20 years and shows the progression of milsurp collecting in a timeline that isn't easily found elsewhere on the internet. Some of the information here...
