Re: M1C build

Interesting flash suppressor. I wonder if they worked as well to break the wire on cases of C-Rations as the M-16 did?? .... . LOL, it probably did. The T37 was deigned to replace the conical flash suppressor that was used on the M1C & M1D. The conical suppressors mounted to the barre...

Re: K98k LSR sniper build

What is the leather pad right in front of the scope? Beautiful rifle. . Thanks Niner, the leather cover over the front sight was originally designed to protect the front sights from damage on Cavalry Carbines. For some reason it seams a few snipers also put them on there snipers in WW@, for reasons...

Bosnian M48 Zrac Sniper

This is one of the scopless snipers that CAI brought in back in the early 2000's. Back then the proper Zrac scopes where next to impossible to locate, but starting about 4 years ago new production Zrac scopes started to arrive from the former Yugoslavia so these snipers could be restored to there fo...

M1C build

Knowing an Original M1C is probably going to be out of my grasp I picked this one up from a buddy on line. It's a pretty faithful reproduction, correct Mfg, correct S/N range, with the Vietnam era T-37 flash arrestor, and I have a Lyman Alaskan scope of drop on it since the Hi-Lux are known not to be...

42 Izhevsk PEM

Thanks to Dmitry (Raspootyn) I have filled another hole in my collection. He recently offered some re-snipered Mosin's for sale and the 42 Ex-PEM caught my eye. I have had an Igor base & mount as well as an early Ukrainian Repro PEM scope waiting for just such a build, and with all the hard work...

Re: We've got trouble right here in River City

Yes Milsurps have gotten a bit more expensive but that just makes the hunt more of a challenge, and even more rewarding.
