Re: Italian Garand M1D 308 Sniper
Looks nice. Quite another investment I'm sure. As a .308 configuration to align with the NATO standards I suspect the same 30.06 clips work in the action with the .308 rounds and go ca ching and fly over your shoulder after fired out? From what I read they work just fine Robert. They coverted them ...

Italian Garand M1D 308 Sniper
When a couple of these came up on G-Broker about 8 months ago I was hoping more would come available so when some showed up @ Palmetto State Armory about 2 weeks ago I plopped down some coin and purchased one. Early reports where mostly good but there where a couple of duds also delivered to a few c...

Re: Retro M21 sniper
Went through basic with the military version of one of those. Heavy, wish it had been an M-16..... It's a great looking rifle you have there and the scope really sets it off. I have no place to shoot at 200 yards so it's a good thing I'm not a hunter. . Yes sir Niner, it is a brute compared t...

Re: Retro M21 sniper
That the ARTII scope Robert, replaced the Vietnam era ART scope about 1976. They where used up until the 2nd Gulf War and are still considered one of the better designed sniper scopes.

Retro M21 sniper
Wife and I got up early this morning to go look at a very rare sniper rifle about 2 hours from home, and while it was everything I had hoped for the seller and I couldn't agree on a price so we headed home with a stop off for Lunch. About 15 minutes after we arrived home the mail lady rang the doorb...

Getting ready for my next sniper build, SA M1A
Picked up a very nice mid 80's SA M1A with all USGI parts for a future M21 sniper build. Hoping to get some range time with it this coming weekend.
