Re: JC to the UK.

Feed,

Good luck with that JC---I hope it shoots well enough to justify the trouble.

After it arrives, are you going to shoot that match over you-know-where?

It's not moving much, for an international type shoot---your's was much better.

The K-11 muzzle-cap & Canton mark....I think....

Here's the K-11 muzzle-cap that came on the latest K31 and a picture of what seems to be a Canton mark. It's just forward of the slingbar cut in the buttstock. I have seen these circled numbers on M 1889 butts but not on the later rifles. [pic]http://pic6.picturetrail.com/VOL165/1109208/2090161/5862...

Shooting...

This is a 25 yard target, shot according to some match rules over at some other Forum. Two shots in four seconds, standing, from the Ready position. This was fired from the 1947 No5, which allowed a dead-on hold with the battle sight. Ammunition was PMP MkVII surplus. My thanks to the guy who wrote ...

And then there were two...

Here're a couple shots of the No5 I stumbled into today...my second. I went to a tiny local gun show to see what could be seen and there was this No5 with a ridiculous $75 asking price <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :b --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/tongue.gif ALT=":b">; I ...

Anybody Know This No4 Mk2?

If anyone can name the maker, I'd be obliged. Missed this one and I would like to rub salt in the wound.
