Ey Duncan,I dunno if it's close to you or not,but go look up the Cinq-Mars castle-yes those are my ancestors from long ago.

If this the place http://www.jardins-de-france.com/Jard_En_32/Parc-du-Chateau-de-Cinq-Mars.html ten it is about a 3 hour drive from here. We have spent a lot of time on the Loire in the past, it is a beautiful region. :FRA:

Yep that's it,I have an old copy of the book about the family and it's quite the pride of the lot on this side of the Atlantic over in Quebec.

I need to get over there somedays and have a look around,also Normandy.

I carry the last name,since I was adopted by my grandparents and the fact they had all girls I'm the only one in the US side that has the name...well there's some others here but except for maybe two that're part of my family,the rest I dunno.

French Canada is littered with all kinds of Cinq-Mars.
