Garands from Korea?

Post by Niner » Sun Sep 27, 2009 3:25 pm

Seems like Korea is getting ready to sell a lot of M1 Garands and Carbines of WWII vintage back to the US.
A total of 86,000 M1 rifles will be sold, and another 22,000 carbines - although these have a more patchy reputation.

I wonder if this is a real deal or just a rumor? If this is real, I'd bet with you that they won't be premo to say the least...but we'll just have to wait and see if anything happens at all.
