My first Last ditch Jap

Post by Flatlands » Sun Apr 13, 2008 9:03 am

Picked up a restored 7.7 yesterdayat the gunshow to fit my poor boy collection. None of the venders would give more than a 100 bucks so I popped off and offered 150. But I don't know crap about anything. Good bore ,mum intact and complete stock works for me. Got a bud that sold me a box of Normas for 30.00. So if I can learn to shoot a peep sight I got a gun a lot lighter than my old SMLE. The bayonet lug has been changed to a different style well half way changed out.

I would like a look at what you got if you can do pics. It sounds like a good shooter.

Regards

Peter.

Yes sir there is: I weld up the step in the two stage and then make a nice oval between the two humps so there is no step. Pulls real smooth . The second step is where the hardness comes from and you have eliminated it. riceone
