A Happy New Year to all. I will be putting some rounds through all my Arisaka rifles this year. The rounds I made for the 6.5mm from .243 Win using the sizing die from Riceone work great. A local shop has the Prvi 7.7mm brass so all is go. I still have some Norma 7.7mm brass that I am using but I will get some of the other as well.

Regards

Peter.

Die

Post by riceone » Sun Jan 04, 2009 9:03 am

Peter I still sell a die ever now and then. Have a set made to send now. When the Graf and Prvi brass came out sales stoped, but when they get tired of swelled brass I sell one.

I'll give a testimonial to Riceone's dies. Awesome is not strong enough of a word. I resized 243 win and 260 Rem cases with them and they work wonders in my two T38s. It sure beats paying almost $2 a case for Norma brass.

Bruce, thanks for the nice words. Over the years I may have sold 75 sets and only had one person dissatisfied. (that I know of) I gave him his money back plus his postage to send it back. I made a little money and learned a whole lot about machining. I came up with the idea after reading an article about a man using a vise to push a 308 case through a washer and then pushing it back out with a nail. Gave the first set to a friend in the Military and as an appreciation he sent me a bag of fired 7.62x51 brass. A lot of them had the primers pierced and I used them to test the dies I made. Made a lot of friends - life is good. roy
