SEMCA 2009

Post by riceone » Mon Feb 09, 2009 7:27 pm

We had our annual meeting this past weekend. We had good crowds, good food and good fellowship. The furtherest any came was 1100 miles. Here are a few pictures.

I would have liked a look round there as well. I won't see a display of Arisaka rifles like that in the UK.

Regards

Peter.

I'll have to attend one of your events

It's a bit of a ride from the Alabama coast, but a lot closer than from where Joe and Dave live.

Quite a show of collectibles. Looks like it is growing from past years.

Two weeks from yesterday will be the start of SEMCA 2010. Niner you need to drive up. I was in Lakeland last weekend for the show there. You are about 5 or 6 hours from here. Sure would like to meet you. roy.

Roy, hope you have a good number of people turn out. I've got a previous commitment I can't get out of presented to me by my wife or I'd seriously consider it.

Sure wish you could come Niner, but some things are more important that guns. Rained last night and this morning so we cleaned up the shops and set up for next Friday. My mill and lathe are so clean I hate to use them before the show. riceone

Post some photos if you will, afterwards. I'm sure it will be something I wished that I had attended when I see them. Darn convention my wife is envolved with that I look forward to about like visit to the dentist prevents.
