New contest with a prize. Ends March 10
Today begins a four week contest to see if we can fire up a little more activity. A 15 oz. mug with a custom image is being made to award as a prize to the person who makes a new post that attracts the most response by the number of individual people that respond.
In case of a tie, all responses, including multiple responses by individual posters in the same string, will be counted and the largest total post count will win. But.... the primary aim is to get the most people to respond and not the total number of posts in a string. If there is need for further tie breaking then I'll flip a coin, if two make up the tie, and take a vote of the moderators if more than two.
The contest begins today and ends at the close of March 10, CST.

This post and any of the "welcome to the forum" strings we have occaisonally aren't included. Everything else is fair, including the joke forum.

Ok...here is a photo of the actual mug. A rare prize..... although of little value.

Not much time left. There is still time to post something that could win. It's not like there have been any long new strings since the contest started.

But it doesn't count. If it did......I'd win.
