Looks nice, even though it will crack without any expansion joints, but indoors it won't matter.
I poured a patio deck with a small mixer like that years ago, keeps you real busy..........
Is the white line, running under and coming up at both ends, electrical?
What a great shop you have now, I am green with envy.

Robert. I used 41 x 35 kg bags of pre mixed concrete that is 30mm± thick, about 14.2 m². Actual cost was €190 because we under estimated the concrete coverage but still a LOT cheaper than buying ready mixed concrete

Vern, the base is shuttered with timber that has a slight give in it on 2 sides. There is a one piece plastic membrane inside and re-bar over the majority of the central area. The white cable is indeed an electrical cable in a trunking, laid under the membrane in a floor channel. It is for power to my saw and router tables and chop saw.

Rather than take everything out of the workshop I decided to just install the new floor in the centre, leaving the benches round the edge on the old floor. Anything stored under them sits on pallets anyway so there is no problem with damp in the winter.

Well, as I can't paint the floor for another 6 weeks I have put the machinery back and cast my first ammo for a long time..... .69" ball for the cannon. Managed about 50 rounds before my arm gave out and I had to stop.

Fantastic workshop Duncan.
Wish I had a room like that.
I have to wait for good (dry) weather before I start casting and we don't have many dry days in this country. :(

Met vriendelijke groet,

Final job to finish the workshop started today. PAINT THE FLOOR.......................
Never take the wife with you when you choose floor paint

Satin Grey on 6 week old concrete is impossible to see where you have painted and where there are holidays
Going to buy some Red colouring to mix with the second coat which should be done on Wednesday.
Then it is finished

So I bought some GREEN paint colouring and mixed it with the Grey.......well the floor IS green but the green didn't mix in as well as I thought, still it's now sealed.
Tools back in tomorrow and then lots to catch up on

Oh well who cares if one part is greener? You aren't trying out for a spread in House and Gardens magazine.
