Re: WORKSHOP REFIT...............
I already have a mandraulic one but the floor is so uneven and powders up - the guy who built it made the floor from French concrete - 10 sand + 1 cement, no rebar and no waterproof membrane.
To sort that would cost me about €3500 and THAT is a non starter....

Re: WORKSHOP REFIT...............
Well, refurbishment now almost complete. Only job left is to pour a concrete raft for a new, level and non dusting floor. I can't be bothered to move everything again so it will be laid in the open area only..... I can do it for about €100 with help from a couple of mates

Re: WORKSHOP REFIT...............
Nice and neat. Wish my "workshop" was that neat. Just haven't worked up the energy lately to try and sort it out.

Re: WORKSHOP REFIT...............
15 October - ready to lay the new floor. Two pals who gave up their morning for some exercise and a fine lunch after we finished.
Half done.........All done
And we tidied up too!
Now to leave it for 3 days to cure then a coat of floor paint and THEN I can actually use it as a workshop again.

Re: WORKSHOP REFIT...............
Very good. How many sacks of cement did you use and how thick is the floor? You've got me thinking about an area where I park my lawn tracker.
