I very rarely get lead deposited in barrels, except in the throats of .22 rimfires. For lead wrap a jag with steel wool for a real tight fit in the barrel. A quick squirt of oil and a couple of strokes over the affected area and problem gone. You can feel the lead.
But I reiterate, using properly fitting bullets and a load that does not exceed the strength of the bullet metal you will not get any lead fouling worth worrying about. In any event it is considerably easier to deal with than jacket bullet fouling.
