This is a copy of a post I've just done on the Enfield forum in response to a question about Eds Red Bore cleaner.
I've just mixed up a gallon batch of Eds red bore cleaner and would like to say that it works really well, better than I'd rememberd. I made up my last batch years ago to soak pistol parts in a tank and sort of forgot about it and drifted back on to buying the old Hoppe's. I've just given a couple of dark bored rifles a scrub with the new batch and its done very well, even started taking out some copper which Harris doesn't claim it does. So save your self a few bob and mix up a batch.

Adam.

I like to make two batches, one with the acetone for cleaning the bore and one with out to clean the other parts of the gun. Excellent stuff and I have found the guns stay cleaner the more I use it.
