After trying to get my Martini-Enfield to shoot straight with its worn out barrel, I ended up replacing the barrel with a brand new No1 MkIII barrel. This new barrel is shorter than the original by a few inches so I had to make a new forend for it as well.
Anyway, being somewhat lighter than an SMLE, my rifle now shoots high. I've calculated that I need to replace the front sight blade, a .015, with a .075 blade to restore zero. Anyone know where I can find a blade that tall?
Of course, if anyone happens to have a .303 M-E barrel in good condition, I'd be interested!
