Cap 'n Ball

Post by Aughnanure » Tue Jun 02, 2015 11:40 pm

Here's a couple of my old cap and ball revolvers along with a Ruger 'Old Army' for comparison

Image

The centre one is a much modified Old Army, that was known as the 'Rugington', half a pound whittled off it.

The other is a Remington, forget which maker, that I had fitted a cap shield to and a crud deflector to the front of the cylinder over the axis pin.

Both gone now. :(

Yup, tricked me again. I thought this thread was going to be about Captain Ball and his adventures at sea........
:USA:

Peace is that brief, quiet moment in history.......... when everybody stands around reloading.
