Feeling good today.........
I got a message on facebook from a guy in the US asking my opinion on Derbyshire Arms .

"Several of us were considering having Derbyshire do a group order of some Brown Bess muskets. I have had great difficulty getting timely responses from them. If I could ask, have you dealt with them before your current order you commented on? If so, what has been your experience? Thanks for any input."

I was able to tell him what a bunch of lying, cheating, unprofessional and unreliable twats they are.

"Thanks for your input. I will defer from dealing with them." was the reply.

So that's about £2500 worth of crap they won't sell to anyone...............Boy do I feel better

That was a bit of mild criticism ...wasn't it? At least you didn't call them bastards or shitheads. We're proud of you for using such restraint.

First job done. I checked the hole dimensions and they were about 3.5 - 4 mm ±ish! I bought a 4mm metric tap and tapped them all this afternoon. As you can see, I now have properly threaded holes that can take proper threaded bolts. It's a start.
