Loading kit arrived this morning, seems very comprehensive.
I have tried removing the grips to see if there are any markings on the frame but I can't budge the screw, even with my 'Foster' screwdrivers

"Any accidental blow to the pin can set off the charge"...and then you hammer the bullet into the case. Seems like a potentially dangerous proposition with that pin sticking out of the side of the case. However... we load center fire bullets into cases with primer and powder in place... so... maybe nothing more dangerous. as long as you are sure the pin takes no accidental impact while loading.

Tell us the rest of the story when you get some rounds loaded and given it a test fire.

I managed to remove the hand grips to see if there were any marks on the frame but the only stamping I can find is JC under a crown.
On Littlegun there is some info but nothing concrete to help ID the gun.

The spring looks in good condition though.

Loaded the first 6 rounds tonight, quite an easy job.......







Might try shooting it in the garden tomorrow if the weather is OK...........

Silly me for missing the load............4.5 grains of ffg . The instructions stipulate that a 9mm would use 3f / 4f Swiss and a 12mm 3f.
It only remains for me to shoot it and then prepare the cases for reloading which I will photograph in due course.

Well today was 'try it out day' for the pinfire revolver......
All rounds loaded OK but when shot, one missed the 'target' and two chambers did not align properly with the barrel so could not be fired safely.
Both single and double action worked fine.
Range was only about 12' so it is obvious that the revolver is quite worn........

'Two chambers didn't align with barrel" is not good. I fear to think what would have happened if you had managed to shoot it when that happened.

I did fire it and discovered the non-alignment afterwards. Not enough power in the charge to cause any damage - to the gun or me....................
