No Vern, you can own a pistol or revolver with extra paperwork that needs renewing every 3 years. If the calibre is 'obsolete' then no paperwork is needed. This is bit of a con - it's an air pistol in .177. More details and pics when I hget home :GBR:

How about three James Bond specials? Walther PP/PPK. One French made, one German WWII bring back and one Crossman pellet pistol made under license to Walther. Different calibers all.

Happy you ! !

Down here, on the top of the world, such air pistols are "Lethal" weapons and subject to the same licencing regime as my .357 Magnum Uberti Cattleman, 1873 Colt clone.
Self Defence is not only a Right, it is an Obligation.

Eoin, how about a .357 Crossman air pistol? After the first 10 shots and a reload of the wheel it may still have enough power to punch a hole in cardboard....or not.

I have two original Mk VI's and this looks like it might be fun to have.
However, at $179.99 US each (plus shipping) and on back order, I'm not so sure.....
(I don't think I paid a whole lot more for one of my originals, but I've had it for awhile.)
