Last Wednesday afternoon Robert ( blackisler ), Sue and Derek (All members of the same club in Scotland and staying in our Gîte for the week) and I visited Guns & Co Academy to do some serious shooting on their new indoor range in Chevenceaux which is about a 40 minute drive from here.

It is the only range in France where you can try before you buy. They also run introductory sessions for people who have never shot before and want to try it before joining a club and getting serious. The range is also used by the Gendarmes and Customs for training in CQB techniques. The range can be changed using light, sound and even smoke to replicate real street or building situations.

We spent 3 happy hours with 5 weapons sullied by the Academy, 3 pistols ( .45ACP - 9mm & .22 plus 2 rifkles in .308 & .223 ). The pistols were particularly enjoyed as pistols are prohibited in the UK.

This is their Promotional Video.

Nice shooting adventure. Like that you made a a video...although it could have used a bit more dialogue. :loco:

What a great looking range!!! And those guns look like you have been into my gun cabinet again....
are those fun or what?? You needed a couple of 40 round mags for the .223, they just go on and on.....
Looks like you all had a fun day.

That looks like a fantastic place!

I'm jealous.

It looks like such a nice, clean, happy place. Some indoor ranges here look like they are falling apart. How loud was the .308 in there even with the hearing protection?

I love your vid too!
