Argentine Miltary Rifles

Post by coalcracker » Tue Dec 02, 2008 10:39 pm

When I was a boy back in 1960. American Auto stores use to sale Argentine bolt action rifles for about $10.00 each. They use to display them in of all things large garbage cans..

I tried to get my dad to buy one. Someone at his work told him military rifles all have bent barrels........Sure wish I would have had one of those rifles nowI wonder what the cost of the Argentine bolt action rifles would be now?

Late 1966 or 67 .....but I was only making $100/week too. I use 3006 brass to make my cases. Just run into a 7.65 die, trim using an electric drill in my Wilson brand case trimmer. Chamfer case and reload. Shoots the Lee 185gr.312 dia. cast bullets really well.afish4570
