A morning in the wind

Post by Aughnanure » Fri Oct 02, 2009 9:03 pm

Went out to our favourite testing spot but the wind was just to much.

Finally fired a few groups in a relatively sheltered area.

Range was a rough 50 yards. The group at the bottom of the targetwas my first effort, using the bottom as a horizontal indicator and holding for centre, the top group was shot holding the target central in the transparent foresight insert, couldn't see the yellow spot at all. What with the wind, I'm quite pleased. :)

Nice...uncrowded....place to go shooting, looks like. I can remember the day when I had a place like that to go shooting.

Looks like the assortment of the day shot pretty well. Maybe if you printed the center of the target black instead of yellow, it would have been easier to see. I know how the eye thing is myself.
