High Standard, Norinco & Stoeger Pistols
Another purrfect day in the south!
Solid blue Sk.Y. 75F degrees(a bit warm), & I am off on Friday nights!
So, without any sleep, I headed to the range to shoot some pistols & rifles.
Just across the road from our private range is a truck stop with the best Friday buffet that will ever grace an array of taste buds.
Great catfish, turnip greens, cornbread, Red beans & Rice, potato salad, fried okra, corn on the cob, hush puppies, all washed down with sweet, iced tea!
I left no room for desert.
Then, back to the range!
Looks like I ate so much, I couldn't shoot straight!

Hey sweet! always eyed those Stoeger Lugers.
If it's anything like a Walther P38/P1 you may have to fool with loads and your sight to hit right,my P1 shoots a bit low with 115gr shells, about dead on with 124gr
Don't ask what happens with 147gr,it's a joke

Re: High Standard & Stoeger Pistols
Well, that gives me hope. I have a P1 that shoots 115 fmj about 6 to 8 inches low at 10 yards. I noticed the front sight blade was numbered so I tried to see if other height blades were available. No luck at Numrich's online catalogue, and the Walther website was no help either. I just hate having to take a file to that front sight.Krull wrote:Hey sweet! always eyed those Stoeger Lugers.

There is nothing so exhilarating as to be shot at without result.
