Very nice, Duncan, and enough proof and acceptance etc., marks to start a library!!

Re: MARTINI HENRY IV
50 formed .577/450 cases and a single bullet mold just arrived from the States for my MH. Unfortunately I am not going to have time to cast or load them until next week

Re: MARTINI HENRY IV
Spent some time this afternoon casting. Out of 86 acceptable bullets 80 are 480 - 483 grains which I think is an excellent result
Don't think I will be able to load some cases until the end of May at earliest but I am pleased with the mold.

Here are a series of images from the barrel of my 1887 Martini Henry Mk.IV. I.
This appears to be in good condition and shootable............

Re: MARTINI HENRY IV
After so many ups and downs I finally made it to the range and shot my first Martini Henry for the first time. ...........Smooth as a babies bum!
Loads were 85 grn of Chasse ( ffg ) with a filler of backer rod, 3 wads and a grease cookie as shown by Rob in one of his videos. Bullet mold and cases from Martyn and pointing by me .
In all honesty I think the fact that I took both the M-H and the Vickers made me rush a little and that may have detracted from the performance of both guns. On the up side, it was a most enjoyable morning with clear cool weather and a range to myself. Brilliant

Re: MARTINI HENRY IV
Now that's good news. Good to see that all the work you put into it before your trip to the range has payed off.
