.310 cadet value in the UK

Post by dhtaxi » Sat Apr 04, 2015 6:40 pm

Iv got a .310 Cadet Iv had it for years its not pristine it reflects its age it shoots fine all though I have only ever shot it at 25 yards.
I have the moulds for the boolit and a set of dies.
I don't shoot it I'm thinking of selling it I'm committed to buying a milling machine this year the more money I have in the mill fund the better machine I can acquire the mill I want is £1500. Iv got a fair amount in the fund but her indoors says it has to be self financed. I'm heading for retirement and Iv got a plan for making a few bob when I give it all up. So how much do you reckon is a fair price for a .310 cadet a mould and dies in the UK. Anybody.

https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/20806/lot/48/ Might give you an idea.
If you sorted some pics out I could maybe mention it on the British Militaria Forum site saying I was interested and what did members there think.

The one I have is at least as good as that so I reckon £300 is about right.
The mould is as new so £50
The dies are as new so I reckon £80
So that will go into the pot for the mill.
So that's £450 we are getting there.

I managed to find the money to buy the Mill so the Cadet does not need to go. Sorry. I'm busy making some scope rails for the mas36 with the Mill my first real project. If they turn out OK I will be selling them. :D
