This is an amazing display of what our military has under wraps from all of the wars since the founding of the USA. ENJOY!

James Jones wrote a book about WWII Art back in 1975. He commented about WWII and the art that the US government contracted war artists produced. He also included mention of artists that weren't directly linked to the War art project but were in the military and were artists with the Stars and Stripes and other military publications.

He includes a few from Bill Mauldin as well as air craft nose art.

To me the best part of the book includes the almost by the way musings of Jones on the "evolution of a soldier".

The US hiding all of these long ago contracted art works away is a sin.
