Operation Frankton....

Post by DuncaninFrance » Sun Dec 11, 2016 2:16 pm

Commemoration and wreath laying yesterday 10 December 2016.
Every year the French commemorate the members of the Frankton Raid at 4 memorials - 2 in Bordeaux and 2 on the Médoc.
This was my first year visiting the Médoc commemorations and also my first year laying a wreath on behalf of the Royal British Legion.
This years ceremonies were attended by representatives of the SBS as well as RM and the French military. A very moving experience ...
