This is a link to a story about a POW that was killed in Vietnam . Some want him to have the Medal of Honor. Richard Nixon did...kinda, sorta. Humbert "Rocky" Versace didn't get it because he wasn't actively in combat when the VC killed him as their prisoner. His name will come up tomorrow in Washington at the ceremony. Hit the movie version you see in the box on the right of "a soldiers story".

Yesterday was Rememberance Day here and besides the usual Ceremony at the local War Memorial a group of us attended the funeral service of a comrade. Very moving as we flanked his coffin in front of the altar and the Last Post was blown on the bugle. Particularly poignant for two of us as he had served in Korea in the same battalion as we had.
