Welcome to the forums Pete. I was in the 9th and the 101st a long time ago. I had some friends that went to the 1st Air Cav after the last brigade of the 9th pulled out of Vietnam in Sept of 1970..

I was a funky sort of a 1/2 bush guy, 1/2 REMF, 3/4 artillery surveyor, 1/8 convoy driver, 1/16 KP chicken shit absorber, 1/3 medic, 1/8 shit burner, 1/4 drive to Pleiku AFB for a real toilet, 2/1 stay-up all night terror in the fog, 1/1 pratice dummy for the Army doctors, etc...

I think that pritty well summes it up!

Thanx Dante' :CA: :salute:
