THE NATIONAL MEMORIAL ARBORETUM - ALREWAS, STAFFS.

Post by DuncaninFrance » Mon Oct 29, 2007 9:58 am

While in the UK last week we went to the National Memorial Arboretum, mainly to look over the new Armed Forces Memorial that was opened by the Queen earlier this month. It was closed to the public while they finished it! I was spitting feathers but the helpers there just said "It has been on the local news and on our website" In other words, "Don't bother me about it"

I managed to get the security guy on duty to take some pics for me and will post them later but I wanted, mainly for Joe, to post these of the Home Service Force Stone.

We are planning to visit next year the day we go to our reunion!
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy!
