Image

A little background on this picture. It was painted by Lee Teter who grew up and lived outside Flintstone, Md., just east of Cumberland, at the time. He has since moved to Wyoming. He gave the copyright of this picture (and the original painting) to the Cumberland, Md. chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America where it is on display in the lobby of their building on Liberty St. in Cumberland. He is a prolific artist painting mostly French & Indian War/colonial America era pictures. He served as choreographer for the movie Last of the Mohicans. I am proud to have one of his signed originals. More here: http://www.hrosecure.com/firstclass/store08/Artist.html

A number of years ago I was given a print of this as a gift.
Are you a member of VVA? I've been a member of Chapter 25 for almost 30 years, even tho I moved away 15 years ago.
There is nothing so exhilarating as to be shot at without result.

No, I fell into the hole. Too young for Korea and too old for Vietnam.
