Arlington National Cemetery

You would think the premier national military cemetery would be pretty safe from corrupt and stupid officials, now wouldn't you? But...seems not. First thing that happened was that a computerized record of graves was instituted a few years ago and that's when appointed contractors got rich, even though they did little or no work to justify their larceny while they failed to put in the new system. And all that was rocking along pretty good until someone discovered graves that were recorded as empty with headstones and then empty ash containers were found after the contents were discorded into a spoil area while in the process of digging new graves, and graves that nobody knew who was buried in were discovered although fairly recent graves.

Too many government employees see their jobs as merely a way to pass the time until they are eligible for retirement. What are they going to do to these people-bend their dog tags?
